 We’ve made social and environmental principles a priority for many years, and it’s a touchstone for the decisions that shape our day-to-day operations.
We reviewed our Group’s long-term commitments to ethical, responsible business practices to develop a more structured response to rising demands from our stakeholders. The results are reflected in our Sustainability program, which now incorporates our five priorities for sustainable performance.

KEY DATES OF OUR CSR COMMITMENTS.

 

2004

In June 2004, Groupe Legris Industries joined the UN Global Compact to promote sustainable development and responsible corporate citizenship. As part of this commitment, we pledged to support the Compact’s fundamental principles and favor their extension within our sphere of influence. More information

2008

In 2008, we established a Code of Business Conduct. The Code of Business Conduct sets out clear, simple principles that guide our business practices. More information

2005

Groupe Legris Industries commits to making climate awareness a core part of our business culture and to adopting initiatives to safeguard the environment.

2011

In 2011 we launched Sustainability by Groupe Legris Industries, a cross-functional program that highlights our ability to change internal practices and build sustainable practices into our operations and structure.

2021

Because our business units are so diverse, we wanted independent confirmation that they are taking a 360-degree approach to governance and impacts in key areas: the environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Today we want to see how our performance compares to industry practices, which is why we asked EcoVadis, an outside expert, to assess all of our business lines.
